Studio Policies

Getting on your mat and doing just part of a class is better than spending an hour on your phone, netflix or daydreaming about how you want your life to change. So, make a commitment to yourself and stick to it. Now is the time to create the space for this. Your whole life will work better. If you are not feeling well or you are injured, let the yoga inform what you do and how you move.

Our Philosophy

We are a small, family owned business and thrive on you taking care of yourself, showing up and helping us keep the lights on! We believe in commitment and practicing regularly and we don't believe in excuses. Getting the results you are seeking is up to you.

We love flexibility, and we also believe in fairness and honoring each other's time.

Sign Up Early

Please sign up for class in advance when you can. This helps us know who's coming and keeps classes alive on the schedule and indicates you are making yourself a priority.

Class Minimums

If there are zero sign-ups two hours before class, we reserve the right to cancel that class. Always check the schedule before dropping in last-minute.

Late Arrivals

We do not allow late arrivals. If you do not make it to class on time, we cannot guarantee entrance into class. Plan accordingly.

⏰ Important

Punctuality is essential. Arrive on time to ensure your spot in class.

Cancellations

We have a 2-hour cancellation policy. If you reserve a spot and can't make it, please cancel at least two hours before class starts.

Class pack / drop-in: Cancellations within 2 hours of class or no-shows will forfeit one class from your package.
Unlimited members: If you late cancel (within 2 hours) or no-show, you will be charged a $5 fee.

Please cancel at least 2 hours before class to avoid forfeiting a class or incurring fees.

Introductory Offer

Introductory offer is only available for local residents that have not practiced with us before. So that we can sell this to you online, we don't require proof of ID… just honesty.

If you are visiting Santa Barbara for any length of time and purchase this option, we will switch it out for you on our end.

Discounted Membership

Discounted membership is available for students. We don't sell this option online but can offer up a discounted unlimited membership to those that qualify. Consider our Tide Fund membership if you need financial assistance.

Start Dates

Introductory offer starts upon your first visit. Memberships and packages start when you pay for it (unless you've arranged otherwise, which we can do).

Cancelling Memberships

When you sign up for our memberships, you are signing up for a commitment to membership. Memberships WILL automatically renew unless you give us notice that you want to cancel. The contract you sign has all the information.

📧 Cancellation Notice Required

In order to not be charged for the following month, you must contact us within 7 days of the next payment at yoga@powerofyourom.com

We do not offer refunds or reimbursement for classes or memberships not used. Seeing change takes commitment.

Freezing Memberships

We will happily hold your membership if you are out of town for 1 month, up to 3 months one time per year. We must receive a return date that is no longer than 3 months from the hold date.

We cannot hold memberships indefinitely unless you have an exceptional request like injury or illness.

Switching Memberships

If you were on a previous membership pricing/commitment, you may change to a different membership at any time. The following payment will reflect the membership change.

Sharing Classes

The 10 & 30 Class packages can be shared among friends/family. Email us the name of your buddy so they can sign up for classes without skipping a beat.

Refund Policy

Simply put, there are no refunds on memberships for classes unused unless we cannot hold class (a teacher doesn't show up or there is a natural disaster).

We believe in commitment and practicing regularly and we don't believe in excuses. Getting the results you are seeking is up to you.

Workshop Policy

We treat workshops like concerts so once you purchase your ticket, there are no refunds. You may transfer your purchase to a friend or a future event.

Power of Your Om Yoga strives to provide its students with not only exceptional teaching, but also high standards in customer service and business management. We believe in integrity to our commitments and feel that this combination will add to the longevity of the studio and the reliability of our programs.

Accounting Policies

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Venmo @powerofyourom.

Instructor Policies

All instructors hold or are pursuing an RYT-200 certificate.
All instructors are reviewed regularly by the owner.

Partnership with ClassPass

ClassPass reservations follow their own terms. Late arrivals or no-shows will be marked accordingly. We cannot guarantee entry into class for classpass members. If you are not signed up for class, you may attend by purchasing a drop in class.

Refusing Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
